To its credit JUIL has set up India’s first large scale commercial Waste to Energy facility at okhla, New Delhi. The facility processes Municipal Solid Waste and generates clean and renewable energy.
JUIL is also working under Public Private Partnership (PPP) mode for establishment, operation & maintenance of Waste-to-Energy plants with :
• Andhra Pradesh Government with three projects at Vishakapatnam, Guntur and Tirupati including their cluster Urban Local Bodies (ULBs).
• Rajasthan Government with two projects at Jaipur & Jodhpur cities including their cluster Urban Local Bodies (ULBs).
• Gujarat Government with one project at Ahmadabad
